Drywall & Texture Repair

There are a lot of different things that we are going to need to cover here so we want to get to them as quickly as we can. The number one thing that we are going to want to establish is the current condition of the drywall that we are going to be working in. The last thing that we are going to want to do is to come in and just start painting without having any type of clear idea as to what we want to get done. From there, we will be able to determine whether we are going to handle repairs or other types of work.

Quick Drywall Repairs

One of the major benefits that you are going to be able to obtain from installing drywall in the first place is the fact that repairs are not that complex. A lot of times we are going to be able to cut through the damaged parts and actually put in a patch that is going to “heal” the area. Once we are done with the process we are going to go ahead and repaint so that you won’t be able to tell that the area had work done. This is a pretty quick process. Painting usually takes longer actually!

How Do We Repair Textured Walls?

There are different ways that we are going to be able to do this. The repair process is going to be pretty much the same as what we vaguely described in the last paragraph. We are either going to be using patches or actual drywall that we are going to be reattaching to your wall. When we are done the area is going to be pretty smooth since we are going to be sanding it out. We can use a special type of spray to generate that textured look and feel!

Covering Repairs

One of the main fears that people will express to us is having a repair done that is going to end up looking a bit out of place. The truth is when you are doing a repair it is entirely possible that the final job that you do end up being quite lackluster. That is one of the reasons why we don’t recommend that people without enough experience try their hand at these repairs. Unless they are willing to sacrifice a couple of walls until they become pretty decent in knowing how to get the work done.

Match The Texture

Another fear that people have is that we are just going to use the spray to create some type of texture, but we are not really going to match the texture that was originally placed on the wall. This is not going to be the case with us. If the texture is something that is really important to you, we will surely go to great lengths to ensure that the texture that is going to be applied to your walls or the repairs is going to be the same as the one you had.
